We encourage you to take advantage of all the courses and resources available. MSU is constantly adding new programs to aid you in developing your skills and abilities.

Professional Protective Officer (PPO) Level 1

The Professional Protective Officer (PPO) series of modules are developed based on the Security Officer's needs for on-site activity as specified by many of our Clients. PPO Level 1 is considered a basic level series. Additional Levels will be added, increasing in difficulty based on the topic and the real-world need. All new employees must take these modules and pass the course assessment given at the end of each module.

Professional Protective Officer (PPO) Level 2

The Professional Protective Officer (PPO) series of modules are developed based on the Security Officer's needs for on-site activity as specified by many of our Clients. PPO Level 2 is considered an Intermediate level series. All new employees must take these modules and pass the course assessment at the end of each module.

Specialized Training and Refresher (STAR) Courses

Specialized Training and Refresher (STAR) Courses: Specialized Training is developed for a particular purpose or knowledge area. Refresher Training is an aspect of retraining taken by Security Officers who are already qualified or previously assessed as competent in a topic to update skills and/or knowledge to a changed standard or provide the opportunity to ensure that no important skills or knowledge have been lost due to lack of use.
